Doubling down is a great option for blackjack players, as it adds some extra thrill to the game and boosts your chances of winning. It is, however, important to know the rules of doubling down before making the choice. The rules for doubling down vary between casinos, however, the majority of casinos allow players to increase their original bet up to more than double the initial amount.
When you have an Ace and a card that is less than 6, and the dealer has either a 5, 6 or 7, it is an excellent idea to double down.
